01Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data collected through this website is LEGAL NAME, FULL POSTAL ADDRESS, COUNTRY.
You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@brighterloom.com.
02What we collect, and why
This site has no database and no form backend. The enquiry form does not send anything to us by itself: it opens your own email program with a message you can review, change or discard. We only receive what you decide to send.

Please don't include client names, other people's personal data or anything confidential in your message. A short description of what you're working on is enough.
03Language and location
To show the site in your language, our host works out which country your connection comes from, based on your IP address, when you first open the site. We use that country only to choose between English, Portuguese, Spanish and German. It is not stored and not combined with anything else. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in showing the site in a language you understand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
04Cookies
This site sets one cookie, and only if you pick a language with the language switch:

It exists only to provide the function you asked for, so it does not need consent. There is no analytics, tracking, advertising technology or third-party script. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading the site does not disclose your IP address to anyone but our host.
05Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., which serves this website and processes server logs including IP addresses. Vercel is based in the United States; transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Our email provider, NAME — e.g. Google Workspace, Fastmail, Proton, which stores the messages you send us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
06How long we keep it
If we don't end up working together, we delete your enquiry within e.g. 12 months. If we do, we keep the correspondence for as long as the engagement runs and for e.g. 7 years afterwards where tax or record-keeping rules require it.
07Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to someone else. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Exercising any of these is free, and we respond within one month.
If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to a data protection authority. Ours is AUTHORITY NAME AND WEBSITE.
08Changes
If this notice changes materially, we update the date at the top of the page.
